I offer gentle Puppy Introductions to Grooming to help young dogs feel confident and comfortable from the very start. It’s incredibly important to begin grooming early—ideally from around 12 weeks old—so puppies learn that being bathed, brushed, and handled is a normal, positive part of life.

 

Each puppy pamper includes a warm bath, a soft air-fluff dry and brush, a nail trim, an ear clean, and light scissor work to tidy around the feet and face. These calm, encouraging sessions help your puppy get used to the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming.

 

Puppy grooms typically continue until around 6 months old, when most dogs are confident enough — and their coat mature enough — to move on to full, regular grooms, though some pups may benefit from a few extra introductory sessions depending on their individual needs.
